Why is iron a separate product in our range?
For me, iron is a personal story before it's a product. After twenty years of living with anaemia, and a pregnancy that hung by a thread, I designed this product with my head, my experience as a therapist and more than ten years of practice, but also with my heart.
Above all, this experience taught me one thing: iron is not something to take lightly. It's not an ingredient you simply add to an "all-round" formula to make it look more complete. Iron and zinc can compete for absorption under certain conditions, particularly when doses are high and taken at the same time. That's why we chose not to combine them in this formula: two nutrients, two functions, two intakes designed separately.
Iron also calls for precision: too little and too much don't meet the same needs. Supplementation should therefore be tailored to each person's situation, especially since excessive, prolonged iron intake can have unwanted effects.
It's this conviction that led me to design this iron not as a "universal" supplement, but as an answer to a specific need, to be considered as part of a holistic approach and, where necessary, with the support of a healthcare professional.
I designed the iron I would have dreamed of for myself: a thoughtful, demanding and simple formula, built with science, experience and a great deal of humility. Because what we know today will continue to evolve tomorrow, and designing intelligently also means staying able to learn.
